Introduction

Hello!

Welcome to Fetal Pig Dissection 101! Before you pick out your pig and begin, make sure you have the right materials.
First you are going to need a dissection tray.

Then you may decide to use a dissecting pad. These help keep the pig from sliding.

After, you are going to want to wear googles to protect your eyes as well as gloves (although these are optional, we recommend you use them because the smell may stay on your hands).

Girls: remember to put your hair back (if it's relatively long) so it doesn't get in the way. And finally, grab a dissecting kit located in the cabinet. The two most important and most used tools in this kit are the blunt probe and scissors.

Now you are ready to start dissecting!
